This collection, created in April 2026 as part of my LiMiA project, draws inspiration from the illuminated Beatos manuscripts, particularly their rich apocalyptic imagery and symbolic visual language. Alongside this research, I explored the life of Saint Francis of Assisi and developed new iconographic interpretations of Saint Margaret. The collection also includes new versions of some of my most cherished works, such as the altars dedicated to Saint Hildegard von Bingen and Our Lady of the Angels. In addition, it introduces a series of small altars honouring the familiar spirits with whom we share the living world, as well as several experimental pieces that expand my ongoing artistic practice.
Each work is entirely handmade in my small studio in Galicia, making every piece unique. Conceived as contemporary devotional objects, the works are accompanied by a short text that offers insight into their iconography and the historical and artistic research informing their creation. Created with care and devotion, this collection seeks to offer a space for beauty, contemplation, and peace amidst the pace of contemporary life.
