(EN) This project is a research on the figure of Saint Mariña/ Saint Margaret.
I have investigated her iconography since medieval times and how was her assimilation in the territory of Galicia and from this research came out, on the one hand, a series of handmade pieces related to my LiMiA ceramic and crafts project and, on the other hand, an informative video explaining the figure of this saint so venerated, even today, in Galicia.

(ES) Este proyecto se trata de una investigación en torno a la figura de santa Mariña/ santa Margarita.
He investigado su iconografía desde los tiempos medievales y cómo fue su asimilación en el territorio de Galicia y de esta investigación salió, por un lado, una serie de piezas realizadas a mano en cerámica para mi proyecto LiMiA y, por otro lado, un video divulgativo explicando la figura de esta santa tan venerada, aún a día de hoy, en Galicia.

(EN) The figure of Santa Margarita is transformed into that of Santa Mariña in the medieval history of Galicia. This subject has to do with the process of Christianization of the Iberian Peninsula and in this video I explain how this process was and I also take you with me on little trip to the sanctuary of Santa Mariña de augas santas, the temple where the relics of the saint are located.

(ES) La figura de santa Margarita se transforma en la de santa Mariña en la historia medieval de Galicia. este asunto tiene que ver con el proceso de cristianización de la península ibérica y en este video explico un poco cómo fue este proceso y también os llevo de excursión conmigo al santuario de Santa Mariña de augas santas, el templo donde se encuentran las reliquias de la santa.
